Harmony of Blend: An innovative coupage bringing together two of the most traditional whites of L’Empordà: White Grenache and Muscat of Alexandria. One provides the body and volume thanks to its perfect adaptation to the climate of Colera, the other gives the wine with its attractive, summery perfume. Together, the two make a fresh, pleasant wine, the essence of the land where it was createdred
Wine of terroir: Hillsides of Colera: Inspired in the light refected by our sea and the freshness breathed with the beating of the waves against the rocks in the playful movement of water going up and down night and day. That’s just like this white wine from Colera, taking its name from the proportions of Grenache and Muscat harvested from the vines of La Pineda and La Falguera respectively. 70 White Grenache; 30 Muscat of Alexandria. Traditional grapes grown in Empordà in the age-old way, seeking freshness.
Emotions in a wine glass: Varieties that resist the Tramontana wind that blasts the leaves. Vines grown near the sea giving us the unmistakeable and almost sickly Mediterranean sweetness of the Muscat and Grenache grapes, always turned golden by the sun, which even wild boar and small birds get to carry o before the autumn arrives. We extract all the perfume and harmony from these grapes and put them in this bottle, sealed with a cork to help us preserve the aromas. A fresh mouthful of our Colera vineyards.
Tasting note: soft yellow with bright highlights. Perfumed nose subtly recalling peaches, apricots and the honeyed aroma of Muscat on a background of white fowers and aromatic herbs more typical of Grenache. Big in the mouth, managing to maintain freshness and intensity, with just enough nerve to go with all kinds of summery dishes. The delicacy of Grenache, the perfume of Muscat, with the freshness and persistence of the combination.
